Music Ensembles
Shepherd's Singers (choir) rehearses on Tuesday nights
from 7:15-8:30pm and sings for worship about twice a month at
the 8:45am service. Repertoire ranges from traditional
choral to Gospel and contemporary.

Community Choir with MVYSO You're invited to
sing with SVLC and the Maple Valley Youth Symphony for "Spring
on Broadway". Rehearsals are on Monday night at SVLC starting
March 8th from 7:00-8:30 pm, with performances on Friday and
Saturday April 23rd-24th. Contact

Praise Band rehearses on Thursday nights from
6:30-8:30pm and
leads worship weekly at the 10:30am service. Their
repertoire includes songs by Chris Tomlin, Tim Hughes, and David
Crowder. Members rotate from week to week based on their
availability.

Ring of Truth (handbells) practices on Tuesday
nights from 6:00-7:00pm and plays for worship about twice per month at the 8:45am
service. Playing on 3 octaves of Schulmerich bells and 2
octaves of Malmark chimes, they prepare music in a wide variety of

Orchestra members (strings, woodwinds, and
brass) play occasionally at the 8:45am Sunday service as
individuals or in ensembles of various sizes. Rehearsals

Other Arts Opportunities
Other opportunities to service in music and arts
include drama, songwriting, video production, poetry,
and visual/graphic arts. Contact
